Dr. Tanya Johnson is a qualified supervisor for post-graduate clinicians seeking LMHC or LMFT licenses in Utah, Florida, or Washington state. She offers clinical supervision via HIPAA-secure video chat (Zoom or Google Meet).  Dr. Johnson's approach to clinical supervision is humanistic and developmental focused, aimed at supporting developing clinicians in pursuing a career and mastery of any clinical orientation that suits their individual interests, strengths and values. Supervisees benefit from Dr. Johnson's clinical expertise in applying an intersectional feminist lens to Mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Bowen Family Systems theories as well as legal, ethical, and effective telehealth practice. She is also skilled at crisis management and guiding new clinicians in navigating ethical dilemmas created by systemic oppression within the healthcare system.  Dr. Johnson is also uniquely skilled at treating complex trauma related to high-control religious communities, and maintaining cultural humility and an anti-racist and anti-oppression approach to all clinical work.
